Hello and welcome to the forum, Pix12red
Motivation means the reason for doing something, so that comes from within you. Maybe give some thought to why you want to lose weight and how things will be different when you do so. Some people write it down and put it somewhere they'll see it often, or they use a picture or an item of clothing as a prompt. Would something like that work for you?

Weight-loss is not all about motivation and masochism.
Many of us here find that what works, to reduce hunger and lose weight, is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Eating All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Hi Pix, it has helped me to compare the basics of eating a healthy diet to brushing my teeth. It is not something I have to be particularly motivated to do, it is just something I do, every day, no matter what happens. Of course, an overall deep felt wish to lose weight needs to be in place, but I guess that not what you mean by not being able to feel motivated. Good luck.
Pippi my motivation comes with me getting into my tighter jeans, tops trousers, we all slip from time to time. Today a library lady told me I look slimmer, she made my day. Friends and family can help but you have to want to lose or at least try.
