Was up at 5.45 this morning. Went to hospital for 7.15 am for steroid injection into top of my foot. Rather nervous as I know they are not nice. While waiting was chatting to an elderly lady so her daughter could get a ticket put on her car. With doing this did not manage to take my appointment letter out before going to register. On entering reception I noticed my name was not up on board. Ahh I thought somethingβs wrong. Young nurse asked for letter and on opening found it to be for next Thursday. Youβve got wrong day dear she said. Oh how I scurried out, head down like a 5 year old πππ I had put it in wrong page of diary! Talk about feeling an idiot π€

I had half a decade like that... but the diary in my phone has is paper-freeπ.
I have a hospital appointment next Thursday - I will be thinking of you.
My whole life is like that! Missed my special treat massage this week as I put it into the wrong diary app of my phone - how ridiculous & I still need to pay for it!
At least I know Iβm not alone then lol. I sometimes think it would be a good idea to put messages by the kettle or on fridge so we donβt forget them.
So easily done - and I have done that a few times!!ππ Not to worry as you'll be super prepared and well rehearsed for next Thursday! Take care πππ
But that's absolutely true! Have to remember so much all the time that it's inevitable we slip up occasionally. Best to laugh and remember that we're not superhuman and perfect all the time ..... most of the time of course but not ALL the time!!!!πππ
It's so easily done. I work in a dentist and it happens at least once a day. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. If the dentist has the time il get them seen saves them coming back. We all have days like that your not alone π
Well, if you hadnβt muddled the dates up, that elderly lady wouldnβt have had the pleasure of your company for ten minutes. Plus her daughter, who may well have ended up stressed with having to do the parking ticket, would not have had those precious few minutes to herself. So itβs all part of a bigger picture (goodness, I sound v tree huggy today!)
But I definitely have those days myself, too.My current bugbear is trying to book RyanAir flights to Stockholm to see my grandchildren & the whole process just does my head in. It starts off as Β£120 then with all the add-ons it ends up twice that amount! I feel like Iβve only just about got a handle still on all my passwords for everything - goodness only knows when that disappears from view! βΊοΈ
