I've been a member for a week now and so far I've really struggled to get going. I've had a rough week health wise so im really not finding the motivation. And I keep forgetting to come on here every day.. I think I might have to download the app so it's right on my screen when I unlock my phone. Did anyone else struggle to get going at first?

Does your phone ping when you get emails, kittytustin? If so, change your settings to get email alerts for every time somebody starts a new thread. Follow people that post a lot, because you'll get alerted then, follow the weigh-ins, daily diary and what's happening threads, as they'll have your phone pinging non-stop!
I wouldn't bother with the app, as that will make navigating the forum more difficult and will probably put you off!
Once the pinging gets you logging on, join all those events and you'll soon be motivated to get going

I would agree with moreless - there is so much that you can follow that you can be as busy on here as your time will allow!
I struggle more now since the weight loss has been so slow. It would be so easy to give up. I've gained three pounds in the last week since I have been moving and all. It's so frustrating.

Yes I myself have struggled the past year and even left for a few months. but I am back and loss 14 pounds. It is slowly coming off but it will stay off. And I joined a gym last 3 weeks ago. someone told me to never give up and this time i'm not. You can do this one day at a time or even one meal at a time. Pick a healthy fitness program that you can stick with, You can do this. there maybe bumps along the way. Just keep up and move on. Best wishes on your journey!!!!!!!!!!!.
