Iโve joined up today as I need to have some accountability. I know what I need to do itโs just the sticking to it!! I can be good, eating the right things, exercising but then I lose control ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐๐๐
Iโm hoping that talking to like minded people will help keep me focused along with the daily / weekly planners.
Would like to lose about 30lbs & keep it off ๐ค๐ป

The key to sustainability is to have enough to eat, and of the right type. If you cut back too drastically then hunger will drive you off the rails ๐ Any changes made need to be permanent, and then maintaining comes naturally
If you are following the NHS 12 Week plan then the 1400/1900 calorie target suggested is a just generic amount, please check your own personal calorie target using the BMI checker, itโs often higher than you think. We always advise starting towards the top of the range, being hungry is the biggest cause of weight loss failure.
I highly recommend planning food in advance. We have a Daily Diary where we share our plans, and itโs a great place to go for advice on tasty food ๐ Itโs in Events on the forum home page, healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Keep that determination up! I'm in the same boat as you, we've got to keep the positive mind set going and go back to feeling good about ourselves! No more jeans sizes increases for me! ๐
Determination gets everyone through the first week or two. Eating correctly (a huge topic in it's own right) whilst ensuring that we eat enough to stave off hunger will likely take us further.
