Bit disappointed but not focusing on scales.

Second week counting calories and being more active going for 10,000 steps daily and only .5 loss after 3.5 loss first week. I feel lots better and less bloated and know sometimes it’s inches so still feeling mindful and maybe drop down to 1400 calories if I don’t lose on 1500 this week🤔

4lbs lost in two weeks is excellent weight loss, Lillykim and certainly doesn't justify a lowering of calories, especially as you're already at the lower end of your range, already. I wonder if you've seen these healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

Why not go back to properly logging your menus on the Daily Diary and join today's weigh-in?

I stayed what seemed the same for weeks but only this week I’ve noticed T-shirt’s getting looser and I’m now on the last hole of a smaller belt I bought. Like many I rely too much on what the scales say but it’s the small things in between we miss. Well done on what you lost so far.

Hi there,

Stick with it you're in the right track :)

As you know, scale weight fluctuates time to time. As long as you stick to your calorie deficit, track everything you're eating then the weight and inch loss will come.

Hello Sham2017,

I was wondering if you're here to join us, or if you're just here to offer advice? You're welcome either way :)

You've lost 4lbs in two weeks and that is excellent. I lost 3 1/2 pounds in the first week and 1lb in the second week which is very close to what you lost. I find when you have quite a big loss in the first week that it is usually followed by a relatively small loss in the second week. In my experience, weight loss can be better again in the third week. However, just keep at it, because you seem to be doing all the right things and you already have had a great weight loss. Best wishes.
