yoga: is yoga a good way of losing... - Weight Loss Support
yoga
The right nutrition is a good way to lose weight and yoga is good for strength, toning and well-being
thank you I was going to give yoga a try later xx
I find that yoga helps me remember the nutrition, if that makes sense - it also makes you feel good
I just want to be fit and healthy but because ive got bad knees and back im limited to what I can do ao I thought yoga might help... thanks for the reply defo going to give it ago xx
I have bad knees and back too - yoga has helped tremendously, but when you start take it carefully and work within your (not the teacher's) limits. It took me a while to learn my limits so when I started I would make sure I didn't have a lot of running around to do the next day - ot always easy tho.
Not sure about the weight loss! But I have been doing pilates x2 and yoga x1 a week. They certainly tone and help a lot with my back. I have bad wrists, but can tolerate it for the 1 hour slots. I also swim a bit. Not so much impact on the knees.
Hi yummymummy2007
I have been doing yoga 30 minutes a day using a free app at home, i love it. It helps with toning building muscle and flexibility. Because of the mindfulness aspect it helps focus you to keep to a healthy diet. I then do cardio on my exercise bike and walking every day. But can’t recommend yoga enough 😀
thank you I did give it a try and it waa really good so im sticking to doing it xxx
Hi and welcome, MrRobinson1
I'm afraid this is an 18 month old post and the original poster has left the Health Unlocked site.
I see you post on a lot of forums and wonder whether you're on a weight loss journey, or just visiting us? You're welcome either way
