The right nutrition is a good way to lose weight and yoga is good for strength, toning and well-being :)

I find that yoga helps me remember the nutrition, if that makes sense - it also makes you feel good :-)

I have bad knees and back too - yoga has helped tremendously, but when you start take it carefully and work within your (not the teacher's) limits. It took me a while to learn my limits so when I started I would make sure I didn't have a lot of running around to do the next day - ot always easy tho.

Not sure about the weight loss! But I have been doing pilates x2 and yoga x1 a week. They certainly tone and help a lot with my back. I have bad wrists, but can tolerate it for the 1 hour slots. I also swim a bit. Not so much impact on the knees.

Hi yummymummy2007

I have been doing yoga 30 minutes a day using a free app at home, i love it. It helps with toning building muscle and flexibility. Because of the mindfulness aspect it helps focus you to keep to a healthy diet. I then do cardio on my exercise bike and walking every day. But can’t recommend yoga enough 😀

I see you post on a lot of forums and wonder whether you're on a weight loss journey, or just visiting us? You're welcome either way :)
