The yoga-Pilates quandary

The eternal question. When suffering from what appears to all intents and purposes to be IBS-D, and you're farting Miranda-like all the way through your class, what do you do? Apologise for the noxious gases to the poor person on the mat behind you, or keep quiet in the hope they'll think it was someone else?

I'm sorry, I know it's not funny, but the way you put it did make me giggle!

Maybe see if you can be at the back so there is no one in the poor position behind you?

Or if it's just certain positions that "release the gas", maybe try to avoid them and have a chat to the instructor?

Hope you'll figure it out! 😊

Actually, it is quite funny... I'm so immature.

TBH, wind and queefs are quite well-known in yoga and pilates and you probably won't be the only one, so just go and don't mention it.

Soooo glad someone mentioned this - I go to a yoga class every week and seem to be the only one there to suffer from uncontrollable noisy wind - it's so embarrassing although no-one says anything. I try to get a corner mat by myself and hope it doesn't happen. Thank goodness I'm not alone with that problem ☺️
