I am using mfp, it gives me a much lower daily allowance compared to the suggested one on the NHS calculator. I cant overwrite mfp....I assume I just ignore and work on my own allowance.

I use that app to. It works for me, plus I can change how many calories I want to consume.

I'm pretty sure you can override mfp's settings - maybe someone will explain how - but, yes, you're better off sticking to the NHS advice on your calorie range.
