Hello,I'm sophie mum of 1 ,6 year old girl. I've always struggled with my weight since the age of 7/8. At 18 years old I was squeezing into size 20 jeans and realised enough was enough,I took dieting and exercising to the extreme and lost 6 stone in as many months,I made myself ill, until I fell pregnant at 22 then the weight slowly came back on,since then my moods and weight have been up and down like a yo-yo. Now I've sorted my moods out I want to sort my weight out,I'm taking a steady approach this time. I've lost 12lb in 2 months, I walk everywhere and love being outdoors. But I've hit a brick wall,I can't see to drop anymore with a bmi of 29,I'd love to get in the healthy range, any tips or ideas would be great fully appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Have you tried intermittent fasting? Not as hard as it sounds! just cut down to about 500 cals of your normal healthy food, one or two days a week NO MORE THAN THAT! I find that kicks it back into life. good luck

Hi, Uberuberuberfit11 , Welcome.

Yes... Intermittent Fasting, IF (or Not Eating All Day, NEAD as I prefer to call it), in conjunction with not eating too much, the Low Carbohydrate, High Fat (LCHF) diet and exercise work well for many of us.

There are other IF options like 16:8... not eating sixteen hours a day.

See my post on the Fasting and Furious forum:
