I’ve just joined this to start losing weight, exercising and being more healthy. I’m currently not happy when I look in the mirror and I want to be smiling when I look at myself and proud. On a mission and going for a 5k run today then cinema tonight but going to take grapes and fat free yoghurt as snacks 😊

My only word of minor caution is be careful around low-fat products as they often have very high levels of sugar and preservatives, especially problematic if combined with high sugar fruit like grapes. Most research nowadays suggests that we need to eat some good healthy fat. Also that we are best avoiding snacking between meals altogether if we can, especially when it’s “mindless” such as eating watching TV. I hope you don’t mind me mentioning it but this has been such a game changer for me. 😊

Welcome! Do you do Park Runs for your 5k? I keep wondering whether to return but 5k is just a bit too far for me. Last time I went there were three loops of the same track and I accidentally came off at loop 2. Will never get to beat that PB!
