My clothes fit me and feel so much more comfortable, some are loose. My jeans need to be constantly pulled up. However a friend popped by to see me yesterday and I haven't seen her since December, she said that I don't look any different! I'm so disappointed, I'm loosing weight at the rate of 2_3 pound a week since January, surly there must be a difference in my appearance? Feeling fat and frustrated! I can't exercise because of my disabilities. All I can do and have been is eating mega healthy, 3 times a day and watching my calorie intake. This is a joke! I know small steps are successful but come on! This is a step back mentally. ☹️

All i can say is ... are you losing weight for your friend or are you losing weight FOR YOU??
Does it really matter what someone else thinks - especially when you have stated how you are feeling the benefits!
People lose weight for many reasons, and looking better - in the mirror and to others - is one of them.

"Hello, gorgeous - do you need a hug"?
“My clothes fit me and feel so much more comfortable” . . . Massive success 😊👏🎉. Ignore the so called ‘friend’

I think going from teaching full time to be limited on mobility and have constant pain, being home and unemployed, not being able to take my kids to the park, swimming, bike rides, I can't even bath myself without help. It's all getting me down. The change happened in Oct so my life has completely changed around. I'm sad and thought that loosing weight might help my condition. I'm trying. My family are amazing and so are my friends but I do need a confident boost. I won't give up. Thanks people. X
As IndigoBlue says, why not join in the activities going on here every day?
I don't think you've joined a weekly weigh in yet. Just pick your day, introduce yourself to your team, make sure you give them some supportive replies as they will for you, then you're away.
There's the daily chat thread, Daily Diary, for logging your food, Edible Alphabet, to get us trying new veg. Are you a reader? Pop along to Read All About It and share your favourite reads. And along the way, look out for other members who are new or struggling and give them a few supportive words. It will really give you a boost, too
I feel for you Mummazita . . . My mobility is quite restricted at the moment and I had to take early retirement but I’m very thankful my family is grown 😊

Keep going mummazita. You are obviously doing really well and I would ignore your 'friend'. Maybe it's jealousy but in any event maybe try to weigh or measure yourself to give yourself the reassurance. If your clothes are loose then you are doing really well. I thought the same when I met with a friend yesterday but I know she is battling with her weight and sometimes people don't like to see others loosing if they are struggling. Well done x
Thank you. I'm feeling more positive today. 💞
Hi there
There has got to be a difference commensense tells you that if your clothes don’t fit and you are loosing weight you must look different ,

Ah, those 'friends' that don't like your success! Hard lines! You're doing it for you not them! Keep up the good work...xx
