Hi

Since November2017 I lost 15kg quite impressive taking in consideration that I have been pregnant in between and my precious little boy is just 6 weeks old today.

My weight stoped around 89kg and I am losing my motivation even though I shifted from obese to overweight category. I have about 15kg more to loose.

I am trying to eat healthy but feel always hungry. Cannot do anyghing drastic as breastfeeding.

Any advices welcome

X

Lytham, I really don't think this is a good suggestion for Mamusia who has just had her baby and is breast feeding. She would be better giving her body a bit more time to adjust

Hello Mamusia, and welcome to the forum 😊

Many congratulations on the birth of your little boy. I hope you are enjoying getting to know each other and that you have good support from family and friends around you.

In my view, it really isn't the time to be thinking about weight loss. You need extra calories while you're feeding your little chap, your body will take many months to adjust and you need to be kind to yourself and not push yourself too hard, too fast.

Think in terms of eating good, healthy, unprocessed food, plenty of vegetables, healthy fats e.g. full fat yoghurt, oily fish, olive oil dressing, sufficient protein and keep yourself healthy. These things will help you not feel hungry. And, by the way, none of us needs to feel hungry when losing weight if we manage it well :)

You will lose weight in time but please don't rush it. Give yourself time to get used to your new family life and for your body to recover.

This Welcome post explains how the forum works and will help you find your way around healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I suggest you come back in a few months and join in with everything that's going on them

Wishing you all the best 😊

Hi Mamusia my third is 10 months now and I agree with the above threads. It's too early to be focusing on weight loss maybe try and get out for a walk everyday and try to eat healthy. Lots of fruit veg and nuts etc. That's said I haven't shifted any weight this time round...3rd. So an determined now to loose the weight. I lost 20 kgs after mt first two. It sort of melted off but I ate well and powerwalked with my double everywhere.

Good luck and be kind to yourself xx
