I was in your position only 18 months ago and was determined to sort it.
I purchased the 8 week blood sugar diet book by Dr Michael Moseley and followed the diet to the letter for 8 weeks and then starting eating an increased number of calories for my height, gender and age but low carb high fat. At the same time I ensured I increased my activity level by brisk walks and swimming. Within 12 weeks I had reduced from size 16 to a size 12 and felt amazing.
Dr Moseley is a tremendous motivator. My blood sugar level is well within normal limits. It seems to have reset my way of thinking about food and eating habits. I continue to ensure I’m active and my weight has stabilised without much difficulty at 20 kg less than when I started. I weigh myself every day
It was really quite exciting as previously eating a low fat diet I had just gained more and more weight over the years
You can do this too and reduce your weight and blood sugar
