Yesterday I caved again! I keep thinking it’s almost the end of the year, I’ll focus 100% when it’s the new year! New year, new me and all that malarkey. As well as not living in my own home at the moment as it’s being renovated!
I didn’t have any breakfast yesterday. Then had two hobnobs on my morning break. Half a bowl of tomato soup and nibbles for lunch. Then babysat my nieces and ordered everyone a Chinese takeaway! (Fried rice, salt and pepper chips, battered chicken with curry sauce and prawn crackers!!) I knew I should have eaten it but did anyways!
This morning I’ve started with good intentions and hopefully they continue on the rest of the day! I had two boiled eggs, one slice of whole meal toast with about a tea spoon of flora buttery spread, an instant coffee with semi skimmed milk, some apple slices and a large glass of water.
What’s everyone’s food plans for today?

Even if you cave in, don't give up. If you wait till after New year, you will allow yourself to eat far too much in the run up. Hang on in there. If you fall off the wagon, just get back on again. I joined this forum on December 11th two years ago, asking folk if they thought it was worth starting before Christmas. The answer was a resounding YES! And I've been a Maintainer for nearly a year now.
Make sure you have breakfast, and don't buy any more Hobnobs, then you can't eat them. Stock up on fruit for when you want to nibble, treat yourself to your favourite, even if it's strawberries, expensive at this time of year, but so much better than filling up on sugar.
Wise words s11m ... plan each day at the very least and don’t be tempted to skip breakfast if you normally eat it.
And remember, one stumble doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road 😊
Why waste 3 weeks of a new you? Don’t beat yourself up, take a day at a time. We celebrate small victories and sweep the other type under the carpet! Good luck!
Don't delay - do it today!!
Putting things of until tomorrow or next week tends to lead to things not being done (hence i have that flatpacked sideboard still to build in my spare room - but thats another story!)
It does take a lot of willpower to start but once you've cracked that and get into the good habits - it will all come naturally!
