Hi. I signed up today too. I don't do a lot of walking, like you my husband has leg problems and can't always walk much and I don't always fancy doing it on my own. I'm pretty lazy really if truth be told. I've just bought a hula hoop, but blowed if I can get it to stay up. Good luck x

Don't give up Lindylou, it took me months to be able to keep my hula hoop up! In the end, I realised I'd been pushing it in the wrong direction, to start off, so try pushing off in the opposite direction and see if that helps :)

Thanks, I've tried that but it's even worse. Hopefully I'll get better😀

Hi and welcome, meeny :)

I'm 61 and do most of my walking without my hubby, although I do have my trusty 4-legged friend. If you don't own a dog, but like them, you could maybe volunteer at a local rescue society, as a dog walker? :)

Hi Hidden, our local council here run a walks for health group. They don't walk miles and miles and the walks take place in different parts of the town so you get to know different areas. It's worth asking at your local library if they know of anything organised where you live. If you can't get to the library they are usually at the other end of the phone. :-)
