Hi and welcome, Redmanc
Surely it's fat that you're wanting to lose, isn't it? 2lbs in a month is approximately 0.5lb a week, which isn't bad at all, but it's difficult for us to really comment, without knowing exactly what you're eating, so I advise that you post your menus on our Daily Diary healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Some medications can cause weight gain, or make weight loss difficult, but that's something you'd need to discuss with your GP.

Hi Redmanc it's good to meet you. I expect an admin will be by to give a more informed opinion. From my lay perspective I'd just say you're doing an awful lot right. Focusing on the scales means you lose sight of your other achievements, and you'll need all those 'trophies' to see you through. Even in your few words I see LOADS to celebrate - all that walking has to be good for your blood pressure, nevermind your heart and muscles; you have all the mental benefits of all that movement; you're eating food that's actively to your benefit. High fives to you!
If you pop over to the Daily Diary thread and talk to them about what you're eating there may be some quick solutions to get the scales moving as well, for instance you may not be eating enough. Good luck, and enjoy all your achievements!
Hi Redmanc,
Sometimes I don't lose weight or even put on but I tone up .
It's a mystery to me .
Good luck .
