Not sure if it normal but can only assume its the detox? I did a complete sugar free spell couple years back and had the same feeling, also felt sluggish. Push through should go away if it is.
Well done Gill, reducing sugar is a great thing and may lead to eliminating it.
I'm afraid it is quite normal to get a headache as a withdrawal symptom, but it will pass. Make sure you drink plenty and have enough salt, if you start urinating a lot.
Yes it is normal. I done a sugar free February for cancer research and it was common in the first week or two that a head ache would occur. Just drink lots of water, add in some strawberries or whatever fruit you like just to give you a little bit of natural sugars.
I need to get my sugar free going again. It was the best diet I’ve done.
I then had some sugar in 1st March and It made me feel sick but I was bad and continued using sugar as I felt sorry for my self. I’m trying to get my brain back into gear to cut back my sugars again. X
