Hello and welcome Skitty 😊.

Weight loss is about eating less calories than you burn, and unfortunately if we aren’t able to move much we need to really watch portion size as well as food content 😕

Have a good read of all the information Minnie has given you, especially regarding calorie targets and meal planning, and please just ask if you have any questions 😊

Welcome to this wonderful forum Skitty2003 . My husband also has MS so I understand your mobility limitations. The NHS 12Week Healthy Eating Plan is a great one and you will be successful following this. Wishing you well on your journey. 😊

Thank you, I wish I could do some sort of exercise x

Welcome Skitty. Are you able to do exercise while sitting? If so you may be able to do some simple weight work. Using cans of beans or bottles of water you can do things like arm curls or arm raises. Resistance bands are useful too. As minniewinnie says, talk to your health professional. A physiotherapist might be able to recommend some exercises too. :-)

If you google ‘exercises to do while sitting down’ you will find a variety of things you might be able to do. Good luck x

As others have said, there's a lot on line to choose from. Good luck.😊
