Hi all.

Is there any medication available to aid me in my weight loss, I need to loose 28 pounds in 8 weeks if that is possible!?

Hello again karlos2587

I don’t know anything about weight loss drugs as we are not medically trained, but 8 weeks is enough time to significantly improve your health and appearance. You don’t say how much weight you need to lose overall, but it’s just about impossible to lose that much fat so quickly. However, you would be surprised how much better you can look and feel if you followe a good healthy diet and exercise plan

Yes I’m trying to do an hour PT session at the gym a week and going to try some jogging a couple of times a week. I’m looking to loose 2 stone in 8 weeks.

2 stone in 8 weeks sounds a lot to me, but I do agree with IndigoBlue61 that you could really make an impact on your health and appearance in 8 weeks. You've got your exercise worked out, so maybe have a look at what changes you could make to your diet. Good luck!

Welcome karlos, is there any requirement for your urgency or is it just a timescale you've given yourself?

I doubt if that weight loss so quickly is possible and I wouldn't think it would be safe for your body.

You need to think very carefully about what you eat and drink, it is much more important that exercise for weight loss. Exercise will tone you up.

I’m afraid tha kind of weight loss in a very short space of time is unlikely to be achievable... and any weight gained very quickly is more likely to return than weight lost over a period longer of time - you’ll also then have more time to develop new healthier eating habits..... which you can sustain....
