Hi everyone I'm 30 soon and I weigh 84 I wanna loose weight and keep it off I wanna atleast weigh 54 by December 2018 any tips plz

Weigh loss isn't linear, so there are no guarantees for how quickly you will lose, but if you stick with us for support, we'll help you to get there, as painlessly as possible :)

Tip... Have a plan. Many people here find the NHS PROGRAMME helpful. It's a 12week programme and focuses on sustainable lifestyle changes.

The first tip would be start today Laurenrene , use the remaining days of 2017 well.

The second would be, put the end goal to one side for now and set yourself mini targets, steps along the way, and congratulate yourself as you reach them (and we will too :) )

The third would be, if you want to keep the weight off, it's a question of learning new habits and ditching old ones, for life; so not a diet but a new approach to food and eating, that you should enjoy; if you don't enjoy it you won't stick with it, so experiment with new recipes and tastes.
