Can anybody suggest an eating plan? I find it difficult to eliminate foods such as bread and pasta but eat in moderation. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to this forum Babybear65 . There is really no eating plan that can be recommended that would give you long-lasting and sustainable results. Most eating plans are restrictive in nature and once you stop following them, all the lost weight plus additional crawl back.
Seek to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy, nourishing and satiating foods that would keep you full longer and are within your daily calorie range.
