Well today has been very good for myself I lost 2.5kg this week and today I hit the garden hard with my shovel, spade, pick axe and muddy hands.
I don't know how many calories I burned but I did 5 hours of digging with my dad as you can see in the picture we dug about half of what has gone already.
Plus it's even longer now and my dad is still at it after I tired out so good on him too I must say.
I guess the question is why is he back out there and not me? well I had a walk too the shops which took a hour but the walking bit was 40 minutes which burned 286 calories (3.2km)
That pretty much burns the fruit juice I was having during the digging which is a win win for me plus it woke me up a lot more because when I stopped and had shower I was falling asleep and just a small walk has well woke me up now.
Walking briskly really helps in many ways and has so many health benefits too.
Also on a side note I am so glad my injury has gone now completely and will be heading up my local hill again next week.
Tomorrow I will be walking to the doctors surgery to get my medication which makes me hungry as some may not be aware I am bipolar and take strong tablets which have a negative side effect of making me eat more basically.
So will power, drive and support on here and from friends and family has been fantastic. My advice if your feeling tired or low..... get your shoes on and go for a walk!!! You will feel so much better about yourself.
