If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice

I've also given you a week 1 badge.

Wishing you all the best

I am exactly in the same situation. Feeling overwhelmed but I have to do it and I will.

Today is my first day; hopefully in one week I will feel proud after my first weight in. I am only looking at one week; next Sunday I will think about the next one. Baby steps!

Hope you will find your motivation and you meet your end goal. Best regards

Hi Anitadsi and welcome,

You may have been missed in amongst all the messages that are flying around so just tagging an admin Ceals who hopefully is around to give you an official welcome (may have to wait until tomorrow as it's quite late now).

I'm day 2 and feeling a little overwelmed too. I have aboit 84lb to loose. I think I'm going to concentrate 2 stone at a time. X

Smartie831 2 stone can be too large. Maybe you can aim for the first badge which is 7lbs. Then a stone and so on. If your goals are too big you may feel overwhelmed and easily disappointed.

I marked 21 days on my calendar in the beginning. I was so proud that I could stay with the plan for 21 days. It still makes me smile. The NHS plan gives you every week ideas for things to try, to change and new goals. Good luck, it is possible to lose weight by being healthy.

Hi Smartie831. Definitely break it down into smaller chunks and the smaller the better. Each mini goal achieved is a great lift to the spirit.
