Counted my chickens.

I weighed myself in the middle of this, my first week, and felt very proud to have lost 4lb!! Woohoo! Then at todays actual weight in, I'd lost just two and quarter lbs - just shows how you should only weigh-in once a week to avoid fluctuations. Anyway, 2 and a bit lbs is not too shabby.

Well done!

That's great though, well done. I have lymphoedema and my weight can fluctuate over a few pounds, especially if I eat carbs as they seem to make me retain water.

That's true, Domblina, it's fine to weigh yourself often, but best only to make the one weekly weigh-in count :)

If you hover your mouse over your Week 2 badge, you'll see you're now wearing a 2lb badge. Well done you! :)

i'm convinced that even if I default a teeny bit and have one biscuit all week and the rest is salad, my body goes 'hey that's at least a 2lb gain right there'

:) For the first 6 months, I didn't lick a spoon that had been stirring anything etc etc on the same basis as you. Mind you, still had some serious fail days and managed to move on.

Oh no I hate when that happens. Although a 2lb loss is a great achievement :)

Those fluctuations are very real. Some people only weigh monthly :O

Great loss regardless. Be proud.
