this is my first day of the 12 weeks programme. I need to lose 40kg, Looking forward to do this.

Good luck with the programme it certainly helped me immensely.

Btw you've just taught me that I've been using program when I should have been using programme :)

you will find that everyone on here is so friendly and supportive :)

I have been at this for about 3 weeks and have a lot to lose too about 4 stone to start and there are lots of us here doing that so you are in good company :)

the advice I can give going into this is do not think of it as a diet - which is what I have done previously which is why I failed .. I am now thinking of it as a lifestyle change and so far it is working .. I am also taking each day 1 day at a time.

No one will judge you on here so if you have any questions or want some ideas on how to tackle it just ask and people will jump in and offer advice and ideas :)

I have lost 7lb (half a stone or just over 3kg) already and that is just from making a few changes ..

looking forward to seeing how you get on .. :)

Well done for taking this step. I'm new too and loving eating healthily. Food is far more satisfying for me when it's the right amount and full of veg and fruit, high fibre carbs and lean protein. Tomorrow its grilled tomatoes on marmite toast for breakfast Had that years ago and forgot how nice it is. Hope you discover some new and old favourites and enjoy the journey as well as the destination (I love my cheesy quotes,sorry!)
