Hi I was just wondering how many miles a day people are walking to help lose weight I aim for 6 miles a day at a brisk pace, split into two, so 3 miles in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, I have also brought one of those step counters which helps a lot x

Hi I have to say yes its working great, and I feel like I have more energy, where as before I was always tired, I have been doing this for over a week now and I have lost almost 5 pounds, but that's also with dieting and drinking lots and lots of water.

I don't do lots of walking at the moment but what you are doing seems to be working for you - keep it up.

Thankyou, I intend to come rain or shine, I feel so happy doing it, being out in the fresh air, I have just ordered some proper walking shoes as I also walk around large fields, my aim is to move on too light jogging as I have never done this x

Hi Julie, I have come to the conclusion,after my own personal experience,and research from newspaper&magazine articles/TV,that physical activities/yoga(stretches),do not make us lose weight only eating less calories daily from a balanced diet can do that. But physical activities will strengthen muscles,improve staminer as well as protecting joints and circulation (ie blood pressure) good luck☕😊
