You are not on your own. I have just eaten 2 packets of sweets and enjoyed them and now have a guilty feeling because of what i have done. Feel even worse after seeing how many calories each packet contained
All we can do is draw a line under this and start afresh tomorrow. We can do this! That's what we have to keep telling ourselves
You are right, we just have to keep going and picking ourselves up again and again until it sticks. Thanks blackbeauty99 - hope you've had a better day today x
I've had a couple of days of stress eating after a month of being totally in control (& losing weight). The thing is I am so much happier when I plan my meals & I enjoy them much more than biscuits & chocolate! But once I go off the rails...... it's biscuits & chocolate for me too! Funnily enough they've never solved any of life's problems but just added to them. Anyhow today is a new day - so let's be positive & ignore those cravings. Good luck!
That actually makes me feel a bit better knowing that you can go so long and still slip up every now and then! We are only human and I totally know what you mean, chocolate is good but meal planning is even better I hope you had a good day and were able to stay on track! thanks Muntjacky.
Hope to see you over on the Daily Diary thread - where we plan our meals and steal others healthy meal ideas (well I do anyway LOL )
I wish I'd made it!!! I checked the thread out earlier and it's such a good idea I don't know why I didn't do it before - was out for my mum's birthday today so I couldn't really plan but I'll definitely be making an appearance in the next week, thanks cracker10
We all have these weak moments so don't beat yourself up too much.
If it is possible...biscuits should be banned from the house!
If you have to have them for children or partner's use, then choose your least favourite. I buy chocolate covered rice-cakes (about 90 cals each) and have one a day for my much deserved afternoon treat.
We also keep a stock of biscuits to put in our guest bedrooms which fortunately are individually wrapped.....I can't say there hasn't been the odd occasion when I have been tempted and sneaked one, which is one reason why my weight loss is rather slow at the moment!
I will blame my partner this time as he left his biscuits at mine this weekend! He also left a few apples but weirdly enough I didn't eat those.. hmm..
I can't believe you have lost 3 stone that's amazing! I can't imagine losing that much even though I need to. I love those rice-cakes, they're my favourite substitute treat but I can never stop at one I think I will just have to ban everything and deal with it..
We acidentally found ourselves in M&S earlier and somehow came out with a Chinese takeaway box, percy pigs and ginger biscuits... maybe there should be a thread here on how to avoid food halls!!
Thank you it was another terrible day (pub and birthday cake) but I rather enjoyed it and I'll start behaving again from tomorrow onwards.
Sometimes it's the right thing to just enjoy ourselves one day & then get back to our new way of living the next day. After all there are always going to be birthdays etc & we've got to learn to fit them into our new lifestyle. Fresh new day today!
