I've been really good food wise today, no naughty treats. I've had my usual amount of caffeine and plenty of water. I do however have a really annoying headache. Did anyone find this when they started cutting the sugar? Or have any other changes that could be down to eating better?

Headache?
Yes when I first cut out sugar and refined carbohydrates I had quite a few unpleasant headaches and caved in a couple of times. I'm obviously not a doctor but it may just be your body adjusting maybe a piece of fruit would help?
I think quite a few of us noticed this, it does go after a few days 😀
its actually quite scary to think that I'm usually so reliant on refined sugar. 😲
I never had any headaches but I know some members have and they say drinking more water seem to help them.
I cut sugar out for a couple of weeks last year and got some stonking headaches so it could be that!
Yes, it is horrible but it goes and you'll feel so much better afterwards
I suppose its like going on a detox diet or not having caffeine it causes headaches for a few days- hope it settles soon
Well done on giving up the sugar but as you've found out, it can have temporary side effects. Eating a banana used to help me. Perhaps have a look at the "I quit sugar" site.
I always say I can tell when I'm "back on track" when I get that headache! I find it goes but as soon as I have an 'off day' I get it again when I go back to being on it.
thanks all. I'm glad there's an obvious reason!
