I am 167 cms tall and was 72 kgs in March this year. I started walking daily for an average of 7miles a day at an even pace [ it takes me about 140 minutes in two sessions].
Today I am 62.4 and fluctuate by about a kilo- DESPITE NO CHANGE in what I do!
I am trying to reduce my risk of Diabetes and hypertension and wish to be closer to the lower limit of my normal range.
Any suggestions would be welcome

You are at healthy BMI, which is probably why your weight isn't reducing any more.
To reduce your risk of diabetes and hypertension, you'd probably be better limiting your consumption of carbohydrates, especially sugar and mixing up your exercise routine, to include strength training and other forms of cardio, maybe some HIIT?

You have the answer there in your own words, dronasharma . No change - in my experience, if you keep doing the same old same old, you get the same old result. Something needs to change. I'm sure there are lots of options for you and people will make suggestions on here which you might find helpful. I would say check how many calories you should be consuming firstly- are you eating enough? That might sound odd, but undereating can make our bodies store fat, going into starvation mode it's called. Or maybe the balance of carbs to fat and protein needs tweaking. I don't know -tell us more about what you eat and the lovely helpful people on here will help you. Good luck!
