Wow - that must've been scary! Glad to hear you're ok!
I'm delighted to see Marlow mentioned. I was born in Hillside Road back in 1968..
I imagine it was impossible to food plan down in Cornwall. There's such a lot of good food to be had there! Who wants to diet on holiday? Not me! βΊοΈ
That " blow out" was easier to cope with than the food!! π
Lol! I'm the next road down from Hillside Road, how funny is that!
We were going to self cater (4 large ladies) 2 of us at Slimming World but it all went out the window on the first day with a visit to the Cider farm. My first ever Cornish pastie! π³
A pint of cider and a Cornish pasty? Well, it would've been rude not to! Ha, ha!
I'm sure the four of you had a great time though?
Yup - it's a small world... I remember the days when there was a Laundromat (?) next to Charities newsagents.
I'm off to the south coast this week so no doubt will gorge while away. I confess I've not even got around to starting a diet yet. There's a great Italian place in Worthing that does delicious food so perhaps I'd better not weigh myself before I go.. I don't want to fail before I start!
You did not get hurt in the car that is the main thing il sounds as though you are getting the second one sorted straight away so not to worry.
I assume you are were on holiday so its expected to gain weight whilst away since you don't tend to be able to follow your normal eating habits because fo eating out, food provided by someone else etc. As long as you had a good time (apart from the tyre blow out)- I think I would have been heading for the take away after what seems a journey from hell its so easy to just say what the hell- you need comfort food!
