Hol clothes

Been sorting out some hol clothes, only to find a dress eBay bought is too big, never worn it, every cloud and all that!

It's a good sign, the dress is lovely, shift dress to difficult to alter tho

I did that with a heap of clothes, Diane, sent them off to the charity shop, with labels still on them!!

No i never had loads with the tags still on!!

It's a great feeling to find clothes are too big - I wish sizes didn't vary so much!

Totally agree, I brought size 18 vest tops thinking as I normally buy a 20 they would be just fine or just slightly baggy 😆 they arrived there so big I could wear them as a dress 😂😂 but other places I'm struggling into a size 22 😱😱 xx

This drives me nuts too 😡 I've got clothes in every size from a 12 (stretchy leggings!!) to a size 18 (fitted dress from Quiz who I believe are very skimpy on their sizes)

Luckily I have a sewing machine and can take clothes in, I've even altered bras!!!

Wow, that's a talent to alter a bra. I saw them making bras in Great British Sewing Bee and it looked really hard. Mind you it depends I need size if bra, mine wouldn't be fiddly - it's more like a parachute.

i've done a far bit of shopping , 3 pairs of shoes, 2 sandals, mule slip ons, and a pair of gold sparkly espardrilles! And a yellow vest top, with lace detail!!

My size is changing between 18 and 20. I've been buying cheap stuff on eBay to try and save money. I'm terrible for not trying things on in shops and even worse at taking them back and thinking I'll slim into them.

I know how you feel especially communal changing rooms, I like to see what I look like in private 🙈🙈 I've got some strange outfits I'd never wear still hanging in my wardrobe 😱😂 xx
