Lol, yes it's true my kids ruined me. Lol only joking (I think)
So I am Em, I weigh 15st 2lb, my 2 lily ones are up today it's half term, but they are awake 6am.... I donnt no if why. So aleady I need breakfast or tea... but then that messes up my day... then messes up my food intake, which messes up my weight and messes up my life. Lol
I also am feeling a bit depressed, I have 4 kids, no me time... even if Im in the bath i get followed! my other half just wants to sit in the garden with his phone and his dam dog!
I feel like just running away, but even that's depressing because I get out of breathe in 10 seconds and have to stop....
Oh I started trying to losexplain weight about a month ago, so far it's been, -2lb, +4lb, and -2lb. So I'm bak where I started lol....
Anyway it's 8am, I have killed 1hr reading these fabulous posts and trying to uplift myself. Think it's time for some tea and breakfast.
Love Em xxxxxx ππ

You are not alone in finding life tough with 4 children. I'm going to tag Hidden as she also has 4 little ones and will understand how tough it can be. I only had 3 and never had a minute. I also never sat still so it was a miracle was overweight! Lol π
Why do you feel eating early is going to ruin your day? As I said in another post, if you're hungry then eat. My daughter wakes up starving and cannot have a conversation until she has eaten. This is normal! π
I'm glad you came on here and found it helpful, we are a friendly and chatty lot so come on anytime π
I'm going to tag you on the Daily Diary slot so you can tell us about your days eating π
Hi EmBear - wow, 4 kids! That body has grown 4 human beings, be proud of it for doing that, look after it and give it the best you can.
I only have 2 kids and I remember those days when I couldn't ever seem to finish one task before another came dropping in on top of it. Even drinking a cup of coffee from start to finish was an impossible ask!
I follow the NHS 12-week plan (I say that like I am some kind of expert, actually I'm only on Week 3 but it's been a revelation.) I calorie count everything and plan my whole day's eating in advance, if you can't get the time to do this in the morning then how about the night before when the little ones are in bed?
I have been finding I can fit quite a lot into my daily calorie allowance (check yours on the BMI indicator on this site). I couldn't live without breakfast, lol, I have weighed out the exact recommended portion size of my cereal and found a cup that it fits into exactly, so in the morning I just have to pour it into the cup to measure it. Ditto 100 mls of skimmed milk. So my breakfast calories are easy to count. (I don't think tea is at all fattening ... unless you include sugar of course ... or biscuits ...)
"Me" time is really important (say she who used to count the bus commute to work as "me" time!). I found that using the time to do something in particular (whether singing in a choir, a Zumba class, an evening out with friends, whatever) obliged my other half to commit that particular evening to being at home and looking after the kids. If I had just said I wanted "me" time and floated around at home, I would not have been left in peace!
It sounds like you would like a bigger contribution around the house from your other half ... I couldn't offer relationship advice at all, but if he likes being in the garden, could he organise the kids to play out there while you get on with something else ...? Could they join him on a long doggy walk every day? (Excuse me if that's cheeky, feel free to ignore.)
The main thing to do is be is good to yourself. You can only really look after other people if you look after yourself, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Ow thanks for that I really needed that.. I lol at ur me time is comuting....
I have a trampoline so the kids had to get the coats on and go on it today just to leave me alone.... Think I stress too much which makes me eat. But theres no need for my stresses....
Thanks for ur msg xxxand all the best on ur weight loss too, I'm on my fourth week but I am not calorie counting..
I'm just portion controlling so it's not a complete shok to my body lolol...
Take care of urself too.
Thanks again
Xx Em xx
Hi EmBear
Thanks for this IndigoBlue61 .
OMG π² why has it taken me 3 days to answer you?? Well that will be the usual chaos that is my life with my four little munchkins, half term and one of them being ill this week π
It is really hard sometimes to find time to do anything for yourself.
All I can say is try to plan everything. What keeps me sane is routine, yes it's boring, but the kids love it and it's stops you going completely nuts lol
Maybe at night plan a week's worth of meals and look up some new recipes. Change4life do some good ones. I exercise at night when the kids are sleeping too.
Just do one day at a time and remember if you can get through the day without having snot, poo, wee or baby food on your clothes, you are well more than halfway there.
