Only on 1400 cals for the day. Suggestions for about another 400-500 please. I thought some cashew nuts or would that be eating too much fat?

You can't have too much fat, dazzle. Nuts are great, although I prefer, brazils, macadamias, or pecans :)

A 50g helping of nuts (whole or coarsely chopped), mixed with 100g of full fat Greek yoghurt, should provide 400-500Kcal, while also ensuring that you don't go hungry overnight.

I use nuts as a snack everyday as they are fine as long as you don't over do it, but they also contains magnesium and can help lift your mood. Love walnuts , and Brazil nuts. Aldi and Lidl are the most inexpensive place to buy them.

Daring to be different, you can bank calories for the day over the week, think of it as a bank account, where you can't go overdrawn (oddly enough I get paid weekly, weird ) , that money has to last you till the next pay day, spending it as you choose in the week.

Your budgeted caloriesfor the week are the same, you can of cours e save some up for a special meal or something, or choose to use them all up daily.

Calorie cycling as I do, being a maintainer is a lifestyle thing, you under eat one day, by say 200 cals and then overeat by say 200 cals the next day, by varying activites and excercises too, your body does not go into plateau mode.

Not what you're looking for?
