So I'm sharing this because most of the time fitness amd weight loss journeys can be so serious and I want to share something that will hopefully make you laugh because I'm seeing it as funny.
At the gym yesterday I was using the hip abduction machine and seeing how many reps I can do at each progressive weight and now my bum hurts
So yea top tip, dont push yourself too far at the gym because I have no idea how to explain it at work tomorrow (I have a desk Job) if it remains uncomfortable π
Have you guys, through fitness and/or weight loss got any stories to share that were embarssing at the time but you look back and giggle?

Unless you know your work colleagues very well it might be best to grin and bare it π as I can think of several comments I'd get from the lads I work with ππ xx
As a gay guy I'm also aware I could get very similar comments. Thankfully it is majority women work enviroment but there is 1 guy who would definitely make a comment he is basically the office innuendo generator
That made my cry laugh a little. There is Hip abduction and Hip Adduction. Abduction is spreading your legs against as a reisistance and adduction is closing your legs against a resistance
I've just seen this EllaMidlands and thero_cpd I'm heading to work with a big grin no hope for either of you ππ and Ella I do hope you eventually got your leg over πππ xx
I work at Morrison's, I'm the lady that makes sure you can have a sandwich, a salad, a breakfast pot and/or a drink at 6am when we open ππ΅π π xx
I know that machine well, I also know the pain it can cause, I think I would keep quiet at work tomorrow - lets hope your walk doesn't give you away!
When I used to go to exercise classes I remember doing lots of squats and tummy crunches, 2 days later the pain was awful, I could hardly sit on the toilet and going up and down stairs was incredibly painful. Served me right, I was determined to keep up with everybody else and hadn't been in the class very long at all!
If anyone says anything, just say you've had an enjoyable weekend and leave it at that!
I won a PT session once and slightly overplayed my fitness levels. Did 5 minutes on the rower at a pace that was completely alien to me, stood up and promptly fainted. The guy felt bad and gave me another session. I wanted to try kettlebells. 20 minutes and all was going well. Stood up and fainted again. Never went back to that gym...
