Hi Susie_1

Have a look at the Daily Diary at what everyone is eating to see if your daily plan is on the similar lines, you can find it in Event on the Home page next to the weigh ins. How many calories do you have a day? Why not try recording your own daily plan on the Daily Diary for a week and other members can help you get back on track.

I can sympathize with you totally. If i am not careful i can just eat and eat for the sake of it. Nothing to do with feeling hungry. I find best way for me to keep control is to log everything and stay within calorie allowance. I find that if i account for what i have eaten then it does make me take notice more and stop the mindless munching. I have also been chewing sugar free gum as it stops me eating and dont like the taste of food with a minty taste in my mouth. Best of luck - you can do it!😃

Hi Susie_1 was there a reason why you started eating more or has it just crept up from healthy to just 1 more won't hurt ?

If there's a reason you may need to deal with the problem first

If not then you need to draw a line, start again, decide you can do this, you want to be healthy/fit/slim, we know you can do it,

try small changes and non food rewards for;

not snacking today

Losing 1lb

Going for a walk

Choosing an apple instead of a cake

By rewarding yourself hopefully you'll feel better about the changes

Distraction tactics can also help, read a book, take up a hobby (knit, sew, tennis, canoeing) anything that uses the hands, paint your nails, dig the garden, dance round the room. Reply to posts (I'm often on here to stop the snacks)

We are here for you, keep posting and definitely check out the daily diary (I'm getting loads of tips) 😆

Susie i hear you! i wonder if there is something particular that you find yourself f eating? for myself when i removed flour and sugar the cravings just went away. some food are trigger foods hey just set you off in the wrong direction. its worth knowing what they are for oyu. both flour and also potato, white rice and sugar are all just sugars and they can cause a trigger in the brain that just keeps you stuffing it in beyond what you need.

Not what you're looking for?
