Hi, I joined earlier this week and this is day 6 of my weight loss effort. I used the BMI calculator (link on the Welcome Newbies page) and my daily calorie intake was in the of range is 1500 to 1900. I've been aiming for the 1500 but I just want to be sure I'm doing this right. That range is for losing weight isn't it? Seems rather high.
The following page (not sure how to hyperlink)
nhs.uk/Livewell/weight-loss...
states
"Your daily calorie allowance on the NHS Choices weight loss plan is 1,900kcal for men and 1,400kcal for women. If you want a more personal recommended calorie intake tailored to your individual circumstances, use the BMI calculator."
Anyway would appreciate if someone could help me out with my confusion regarding interpretation of the range given by the BMI calculator
