Hi all,
Wondering if I can ask for some advice. I am returning to work on Monday where the office has lots of 'junk' to eat and I want to take healthy food to work for lunch.
Can I ask what people take in for lunch

Hi, I like Salad, rice and chicken, pasta and tuna, home made soup, wholemeal sandwich filled with salad just a few, take some fruit for snacking 😊
I'm sure you'll get lots more suggestions good luck xx
Hi zc81
Why not take some fruit with you as a healthy snack or a salad to keep in the fridge.
Have a look in the Topic section at the post "Recipes/Meals/Snacks" you might find some ideas in that post.

If it has to be really quick, I just bring an avocado, a couple of tomatoes, some cottage cheese and a boiled egg.
Couscous, or wholemeal pitta with hummus and salad and fruit yogurt, I love mangoes and pineapple too yummy
Because I am a) disorganised b) rubbish at cooking and c) use my lunch hour mainly to walk my dogs so have about 5 mins to stuff something in my face, I tend to have the microwave rice packets. There's some pretty snazzy ones. The one I had on Friday was by Tilda and was pumpkin seed, quinoa and something. I'm not advocating this as the most healthy of all options, but it's much better for me than a big cheese/mayo/onion roll with crisps! I'd love to be someone who prepared some amazing thing the night before but in term time that just won't happen so it's this, chips from the canteen or a sandwich from the garage over the road!
Then have fruit and drink a load of water to remind my belly that it has eaten and no the vending machines are not a good idea!
