I decided to write a post re tracking the journey hopefully to motivate those on a slow weight loss journey. I've realised this time the overall health benefits.
I've purchased a tape measure rather than focusing on just the scales as I need all the motivation I can get to continue. The community on here are a great motivator reading all the weight loss stories from you.
I find it's great on here to keep your record of the journey which hopefully mine will be eventually inspiring for others. I love your before and after photos. I will be posting mine when I reach my goal.
My measurements in 4 weeks have changed a little.
Waist was 36 Now 34 loss 2 inch
Hips 42 Now 41 loss 1 inch
Neck 14 was 15 loss 1 inch
Liver Function Normal before it was well elevated.
Cholesterol was 6.7 I need a re test in 3 months
Blood Pressure Now Normal it was High before this journey.
My body fat is very high for my stature of 5ft 2 it is 38% My body fat is my major concern. My BMI is in overweight bracket.
I'm losing weight slowly and this time I'm going to make it to goal.
Before I've always tried to lose weight to look better this time it is for HEALTH reasons.
I'm not that active but I'm taking slow steps to get active. A walk is my start, leaving the car at home. Parking further away at supermarket, taking the stairs, which incidentally I am totally out of breath plus I have bad knees but hopefully these small changes will add up on the end balance sheet at my GOAL... When I get to GOAL this will be the start of a new chapter where hopefully the healthy lifestyle will become a GOOD HABIT.......
