Average day? Porridge with blueberries or egg and toast; homemade soup and yogurt; Something from the Hairy Dieters cook book e.g. Beef stroganoff and fruit. Hope that's helpful. 😊

Hi. Fruit or eggs for breakfast, salad and chicken or tuna or homemade soup for lunch. Meat or fish with loads of veg for tea. Water to drink plus 2 cups of tea. Bit of natural yogurt to keep my calcium levels up. 1 vitamin & mineral supplement.

Hi and welcome 20Boston :)

Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you :)

Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news :)

Have a look at the 12 week plan, as many people have been successful following it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate :)

We run daily weigh-in's and you'd be very welcome to join us. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.

We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too :)

It's only left for me to wish you well on your journey :)

I have been having high fibre bran or porridge for breakfast, fruit or measured amount of nuts as a snack, soup (sometimes homemade, sometimes tinned), or salad for lunch and then whatever sounds nice but relatively healthy for dinner. Today we had sausage casserole (lots of shallots, mushrooms and peppers - small number of sausages) with veg and cauliflower rice for me :)

today I had crumpets for breakfast, scrambled egg on toast for lunch and a banana, for tea I did what we call 'savoury mince', minced beef with loads of veg mixed in and some halved new potato, so a bit like a stew really - 400 cals per serving. I also snacked on almonds, sultanas and I had 1 chilli rice cake.

Cornflakes with semi skimmed milk/beans and vegetarian sausages, then either tuna sweetcorn with oatcakes and salad or chicken and vegetables, then something like chilli con carne or more meat and veg for tea :)
