I just started on Monday and have supposed to have 1400 cals daily but stopping the crisps etc between meals I've found it hard to eat this amount ( which seems ludicrous as I need to lose weight so have obviously eaten much more than that to get here.) Can anyone help me to work out what to eat for meals? So far I've had porridge, berries, kiwi fruit for breakfasts, 2 wholemeal sandwiches with salad and gammon for lunch and stir fry veg with chicken both dinners and an orange mid afternoon on both the days but know I'll get fed up with plan if I don't get variety. Know also you must eat to lose. HELP PLEASE

You do need Those calories. You can allow yourself some low calorie snacks. This works fir some people.
Thanks I want to change my approach to bad eating habits. I will look for the lower cal snacks so that I can use them and leave room for proper meals.
I think the first two weeks while you are trying to institute a new regime are the hardest. Being hungry is not good so try and avoid it by planning for snacks. You may not need them and can then have a little treat sometimes instead.
Veggie soup, fish which is very little calories. As Aqua says you must eat your daily amount as that is the only way to loose plus doing exercise. Have a look around this site there are fab ideas for meals. Good luck on your journey.

I need help just can't stop eating the wrong things.
I make sure I have at least 2 portions of fruit and three of veg every day. 8 glasses of water. I have two Jaffa cakes or two squares of 70% cocoa dark chocolate a day.
