If you can't go outside for a walk do it in your house, if you have stairs use them, if not you could just walk into each room and touch the furthest wall a few times throughout the day. It might keep your ticking over until the rain stops.
Thank you, just discovered on u tube a video on walk a mile indoors, did it yesterday and today pretty good work out.Yes I had been walking round the house and up and down the stairs thought maybe I was a bit mad but glad you have suggested it as well.Hope all good for you.
Hi, I started my weight loss plan beginning of January. I am 50 and postmenopausal. Lost 1.3 kg first week but very little after that despite increasing the walks (I walk 8km almost everyday) and sticking to the eating plan, food diary and calories intake. Total loss after one calendar month 2.5 kg, should have been closer to 4kg! It's really depressing not seeing the number on the scales go down, I have 10 kgs to lose. But I feel stronger, healthier and more supple so we just have to keep going. Hang in there!
Keep going, I remember having a small -half pound- loss in my 2nd week and being despondent. I was encouraged by others on the forum and stayed with it. I'm now approaching 2 stone off slowly and steadily and have the belief I will get to my ultimate goal later this year.
Hi,I am on week 12 this week, have now lost 8lb so just need to lose the other 2lb to get to my target of 10st 2lbs. So will have to keep going a bit longer and then need to maintain,I hope I have learnt enough about counting calories and exercise to maintain.Good luck shengorth with your loss.x
Well done 3snow4 on getting so far and hopefully you will get the result you want this week. Im determined to stick at it.I am going to step up my water intake this week and exercise a bit more also and hopefully that will help me see a change on the scales.
