Ok, it happened. Start again and put it behind you. Be determined and exercise, the weight will come off.

As Ella rightly states, it happened, don't dwell upon it and simply return to re-introducing a daily calorie deficit, reducing consumption of refined carbohydrate and increasing level of exercise in the days before next stepping upon the scales.

Even if Sunday happens to be weigh-in day, the deficit maintained and exercise undertaken over the course of the past week will have helped to ensure that a weekend of excess won't have wholly undone cumulative effort for the week.

I'm angry at myself this week, I only lost 1lb but it is my own fault as iv been quite unhealthy and not worked out as much as I could have. Instead of beating myself up I have taken the view of hey im 1lb lighter than I was lost last week. You should do the same, it's not an easy journey but if things were easy it wouldn't feel so good when we achieve our end goal x

It happens to us all we've all been there - and will do again-but instead of feeling guilty just think of it as a blip and continue eating healthily and probably the next time you weigh you will have lost and be back on track!! At least you have posted it - that's why we have this super forum- to back and help each other as we all need help and guidance sometimes...otherwise this forum wouldn't exist!!!!! Thank goodness it does as I need it when I go off the rails too :)

Good luck for your next weigh in :)

I've put on weight as well, find it's easier to keep focused on weekdays. Guess I need to change my attitude, weekend is for relaxing (at least one day in my case), there are many ways of relaxing, but do not include lack of control eating!

Just drawn a line under it and start fresh today. It might be fluid you put on and will soon loose again.

Best Wishes x

Don't beat yourself up hun, we've all done it. You have lost it before you can lose it again :)

Join the club! I found that the few unopened chocs and bottle of wine from Christmas somehow got eaten last weekend, mostly by me! I'm feeling rather sugared-out at the moment, so that might help me be more sensible this week.

All I'd say is that if you pig out for 2 days and then jump on the scales on day 3, you can look as though you have put lots of weight on, but it will be mostly the weight of the food itself, and holding in extra water. So don't be too discouraged - stick to your diet seriously this week, and by next weigh-in you'll be back on track.

Remember, don't let a lapse become a collapse. (That's what I'm telling myself this morning!)

If you're like me (I've got an all or nothing head) and it's hard ! Don't know why weekends are so hard but they definitely are. PMA 👍 Don't beat yourself up and have a great week ☺️
