Starting my weight loss journey today. I've completed my C25K and was so proud to accomplish that, now on to my weight loss journey with the help of this forum. It was instrumental in my C25K journey, so I know the support on this forum works!! Need to lose 30 pounds!

Welcome, good luck with losing the 30 pounds. It will be great to look at your 30 pounds in smaller amounts. Like 7lbs at a time as it will feel easier to do then. Maybe give yourself a small treat every time you complete each 7lbs that is not food related, like a cd, book or going out somewhere like cinema for completing it. It always helps with pushing you to do it. You will hear from one of our administrators shortly who can explain more information to you. All the best!

Welcome to the Weight Loss Forum ☺ and very well done completing the C25K ☺ That's an excellent achievement ☺
Have a good look around the forum especially the Newbies post (in the Pinned Posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile) and also the links to the NHS 12 week plan weight loss plan. This is an excellent plan with weekly email support.
The forum has weigh in threads on 6 days of the week that you are welcome to join, although the Monday weigh-in is currently full you could join in on one of the other days ☺ There are regular challenges and progress 'badges' including a 'Newbie' one for when you first join the forum. If you would like one just ask ☺
Don't forget to take your initial measurements and photographs as it's a great way of seeing just how far you've come, especially when the scales aren't co-operating. ☺

The weigh in thread run 6 days a week and you will find then under 'events' on the 'home' page (the one with the strawberries). Depending upon which device you have this will either be on the right hand side of the screen or right at the bottom after all the posts ☺
Mondays are fully subscribed but Tuesday - Saturday are available. You just post your details in the reply box ☺ To lighten the load we ask that everyone responds to at least one other member, ideally the person directly ahead of you on the thread. This is a bare minimum, though and we'd love to see everyone, with their pom poms, cheering as many people as they wish, on as many days as they like ☺
It would make things so much easier for us if you could state your weight, how much weight you've lost/gained/maintained this week and your goals for the week ahead. Other than that, feel free to share any details of your week that you like. ☺
