Going out to buy some more cocoa butter to slap on my spare tyres.

Any other tips to prevent loose skin?

Moisturising helps, as well as exercise and toning ☺ Good luck

Maybe look into yoga to help with body toning. Not too strenuous, but very good!

Also am now preaching about 'Body Fit by Amy' channel on youtube which has 10 minute workouts which target specific body areas. Had a quick look and found this:

Might be helpful?

Many thanks, this looks a brilliant work out. It will certainly sculpt the belly area and hopefully pull in the excess skin.

Hi Applebelly, not to be the voice of doom and gloom, but I have to tell you, that older skin loses its elasticity, so will not spring back like younger skin does.

I'm pushing 60 and know that no amount of cream, or toning will sort out the Sharpei skin that I have now, but compared to the 7st of fat that I used to carry around with me, I think it's worth it :)

I was, however, morbidly obese, so my skin was stretched to capacity and is now like a deflated balloon! :D

Hopefully you didn't let things get as out of control and that the steps you're taking now, will help :)

Good luck! :)

Yes, I know it's going to happen, but it's about keeping my skin healthy as well as looks. I've just thought of another thing to try and that is cream containing vitamin E. Also thinking about getting some support pants.

Weirdly this has been on my mind since I woke up this morning! I try not to dwell on it but I have accepted it is likely to be inevitable. It's better to have loose skin than fat I think.

General advice I think is moisturise daily, don't lose weight too quickly (1-2lb a week as recommended to give your skin chance to 'shrink back' if it can) and to do strength/toning exercises along with cardio.

Try not to let this thought bog you down and just do what you can! Health is the most important thing and we can worry about the cosmetic side afterwards :)
