Just signed up tonight and eager to lose this baby weight. Is there anyone else in the same position as myself? Could do with some guidance and support from fellow mothers.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

After doing all your measurements and checking your starting weight, have a look at the Welcome Newbies post in the pinned posts section (to the right of your screen on a pc or at the bottom on a mobile). This is currently being updated, but it will tell you mostly how things work around here.

In the last few weeks all the administrators have stepped down from their posts, so we have all been working together to try and keep the Monday group weigh-in going and finding out about handing out badges etc. These issues are slowly resolving themselves, but please bear with us in the meantime.

Myself and two other members YellowRose55 and Itsbab will be taking on running the weigh-in on a temporary basis until we hear otherwise from HU.

Rose posted the thread this week - you can still give your starting weight there until Friday at 6pm or you can wait until Monday when l will post the next one. If you "follow" me, you will be notified when I've posted it. I will be explaining to everyone how it's going to work, so don't worry.

Please don't hesitate to ask anyone if you're unsure of anything - we are all a friendly bunch.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing you around ☘

Hi, I lost quite a bit weight after giving birth to my son, took my about 8 months or longer. Breast feeding is great for losing weight and great for your baby.

Drink plenty of water (soup counts too).

Eat healthy (you will be eating healthier if you're breastfeeding, mum's instinct).

Walking, a lot of walking (buggy walk is great, and take your baby out in a sling if you have one).

I put on weight again during a period of stress time: moving house, jobs, raising a toddler, etc. now start afresh again losing weight and try maintain healthy weight.

Good luck!
