Christmas... Slimming... Turkey
Well done for staying focused. I hope you had a good dayπ
Merry Christmas and I hope you had s great day Cazzhicks π
Well done! I stayed focussed yesterday, planned my food and even then I've gained 3/4lb. But it could have been much worse.
I checked Ferrero Rocher chocs on NHS calorie checker. They are 75 cals each and so my box of 20 is 1800 cals. So this girl will ensure that her guests are treated to them as I won't undo all the hard work for the sake of a few chocs.
Wising you well in staying focussed.
PS I swapped my Christmas pud for melon - delicious!
Peeps.... Sad news.....I stuck to it and then got weighed at boots...π The ticket said I'd gone up.even my bmi in short space of time I did nothing wrong.HOW could this be.??? πππ
Without knowing exactly what you ate we can't say what may have led to an increase - but fluctuations occur. As your weigh-in was at Boots, I guess you weren't naked so even wearing different clothes could affect this, or the time of day, or other bodily functions!
Christmas 2015 I weighed 10 st 3 lb. This year it is 9 st 3 lb. I think there was even a gain of a couple of pounds in the Spring. Most
of the stone lost this year was probably in mid-July to mid-September -
arising from doing a lot of extra walking in the normal course of my life as
well as averaging under 1500 cals/day.
My doctor has told me not to lose any more weight (my BMI is about two-thirds of the way through the acceptable range - nearer the top than the bottom) but I want to lose more - to be closer to my wedding weight (decades ago).
The reason for the extra walking has ended but I am still trying to walk more than before. The last stone will be harder to achieve (I'm hypothyroid which doesn't help) but having got to where I am now I am determined not to gain again.
