Have you made your own puddings/biscuits ?
It may be the aspartame.....................................it does have pretty nasty side effects, try maybe less honey or sweetend low sugar fruits, this I think is the way forward.
Gluten free products tend to stuffed with masses of corn, rather than rice based stuff, I think research is needed!
Make your own cakes using grated apple, mashed banana and chopped dates for sweetness, also check out sites like Deliciously Ella. I try to avoid artificial sweeteners, as I think they add a funny taste too!
Take a peek at Dr Michael Mosley's Blood Sugar Diet book (I should get a fee for mentioning him!) He has an 8 week diet where you cook from scratch, thus avoiding sugar, and has some interesting things to say on Diabetes.
Hi Linniewoo
I know what you mean, it can be a challenge to find food that is low in sugar but still tickles your tastebuds. I have recently discovered stewed apples, really nice with cinnamon☺
Hope this helps!
OK Try this formula... may look different.
1. Try saying... I love myself... I love me more than biscuits
I love myself more than any person or thing or food in this world.
2. What you are trying to do is not 'lose weight' but 'get fitter and healthier'. and there is a vast difference between the two..
When you talk of Lose Weight.. we think of some foreign object in our body for which we need to press the eject button.
But when we say 'Get Fitter & Healthier' ... it means we are trying to transform our mind, our body, through a makeover of our habits.
Fitness and Health as the Goal can truly transform your life.
3. Push out from your home all the biscuits and puddings and replace them with fruits.
When stuff does not come before you, the temptation will automatically end.
4. Last but not the least... try mindful eating... Its very powerful

All the best!!
