Hi everybody I finally went out for my walk at the gym. Thank goodness it is only 5-7 minutes away from my home. And wore my new snow boots which where nice and toasty. So really I have no excuse this winter not to go. New boots/short distance to the gym.

Walk
Hi Wadestreet,
Glad you enjoyed your walk, and it's good that your snow boots are nice and toasty.
New boots and a short distance to the gym is great!
Hope you have a relaxing evening.

You certainly don't have an excuse not to, since you live so close to one.
Moreover, snow or no snow, by continuing to exercise as much as possible over the winter months, not only will fitness and level of weight lost increase, you'll also be ensuring that mood remains elevated, ensuring that enthusiasm and determination is maintained.
Yes, You are right and as well I need to put my sun lamp to good use on a permanent basis. I have been using it rarely. So starting tomorrow I will put it on. And with the exercise program and getting out is going for a couple of coffees a week will be my determination so I can have a great winter this year.
If you happen to require the use of a sun lamp, also consider including more salmon and eggs in your diet over the winter months, since their vitamin D content will help to ensure the that body doesn't become deficient in the absence of its preferred source (sunlight).
Moreover, maintaining vitamin D intake will also assist with production of serotonin (a mood enhancing hormone), meaning that you can continue to exercise and visit the coffee shop, despite how depressing the weather may be at this time of year.
Good Calorie burners include building snowmen, pulling sleigh's with small children on board and chucking snowballs at said children if you know any? Have fun!
Oh that sounds fab! We dont really get snow here so my kids are always insanely jealous of everywhere else!
Another tip about sun lights is to take your glasses off so the rays reach in to your eyes. One of my healthiest winters (mentally and physically) involved a half hour walk every lunch time with coffee on a south facing balcony. Good luck with the gym, it's good that it's nearby.
