Easy Saturdays are the best

It's a miserable day here in Somerset, intermittent rain and very low cloud but I'm not letting it dampen my enthusiasm

Been out this morning for hubby to call in at a model train fair and I picked up some quilting fabric at a nearby quilt shop

Just had half a tub of Tesco's delicious Chicken and Tarragon soup for lunch (211 cals and worth every one) and we're heading off to the local pub to watch the England v S Africa rugby game - sparkling water will be my tipple and then home for dinner

No pressure, no stress, no dashing about - just what Saturdays should be after a busy week

Hi Annabelle its a Rainy day here in Berkshire too but have had a very productive day making apple jelly & stewing the rest for the freezer . Now braving the weather to walk the dogs .Have a great weekend .

I love Saturdays too, and I always try to ensure they are a haven to relax and unwind - so I really relate to what you're saying there about Saturdays ideally being a time to ease up and relax.

I love the tesco thai chicken soup so will go try the chicken and tarragon one next time. Its been raining here all day to hopefully weather will be nice tomorrow!
