Confusion over challenges

I'm interested in doing one or more of the challenges,l to help with motivation, but I'm a bit confused about what to do. A lot of them seem to have already started or just finished. Could someone point me in the direction of what might be a good one to do or possibly explain it a bit more in case I've misunderstood something?

Thanks

Hi for a taster you could join the winter solstice challenge, it's over on the right of the screen under pinned posts and a link ( Post ) will be put on Monday morning.

There will be about 7 weeks left so you put on your weight then a pledge how much you want to lose by Dec 22nd also how much by the following week so it would read something like this

Wrenandhippo

13.6 current weight want to lose 8lbs pledge to lose 1.5lbs by next week.

When the challenge is over we are all going to get ourselves something sparkly for Christmas it doesn't have to be clothes a hair decoration, shoes, bag etc.

Just have a look at the pinned posts to see if there's anything you fancy.

Best wishes Bev👍😊

Hi Wrenandhippo,

Yes, just join in with any Challenge you like the look of, and Itsbab (Bev) has given you a great example of how to do just that.

Also, have a read of the Welcome Newbie post, as that also mentions the Challenges there:

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Specifically regarding the Challenges, moreless wrote that "The titles and formats of the challenges change over time, but they're open to everyone, at any time, so don't be put off by a heading that invites stats for a specific week

:-)"
